Cookie Policy

What this site stores in your browser and how to turn it off. We describe only what is actually set on clevernessacademy.com.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Related technologies, such as localStorage, can also persist small values on your device. Below is the exact list of what this site uses.

2. The site sets no cookies of its own

clevernessacademy.com has no registration and no user account, so we set no authentication or session cookies of our own. Your language is determined by the page address (/ for English and /ru for Russian), not by a cookie.

The access_token and refresh_token authentication cookies belong to the practice platform dsatcleverness.com and are described in its own cookie policy. They are not set on this site.

3. Yandex Metrica — analytics cookies

This site runs the Yandex Metrica counter. It helps us understand how many people reach the site, where they come from, and which pages they read. The counter sets cookies named _ym_* in your browser:

  • _ym_uid — an anonymous visitor identifier used to tell new visitors from returning ones.
  • _ym_d — the date of the first visit.
  • _ym_isad — a technical check for the presence of an ad blocker.
  • _ym_visorc — used by Webvisor; short-lived.

We have Webvisor enabled: it records anonymized on-page behavior — cursor movement, clicks and scrolling. We use it only to find awkward spots in the interface.

Please do not type sensitive data into the request form: behavior recording can capture input into form fields. A name and a contact are all we need to reply.

4. Vercel Web Analytics — cookieless

We use Vercel Web Analytics, aggregated traffic statistics from our hosting provider. It sets no cookies and creates no persistent visitor identifier. Separately, Vercel hosting keeps technical request logs that include your IP address.

5. No advertising or marketing cookies

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, retargeting pixels, or ad networks. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than an external CDN, so loading fonts does not expose your IP address to a third party.

6. Third-party cookies on their own domains

When you follow a link away from our site, the rules of that service take over. The following may set their own cookies on their own domains:

  • dsatcleverness.com — the practice platform (its own account and cookies).
  • WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn — when you open a chat or profile.
  • Lemon Squeezy — during checkout on the platform.

7. How to opt out and manage cookies

  • Browser settings — you can delete cookies and block them ("Clear site data", "Block third-party cookies"). The site keeps working: it does not depend on cookies.
  • Opting out of Yandex Metrica — Yandex provides its own opt-out mechanism: yandex.com/support/metrica/general/opt-out.html.
  • Blockers and private browsing — blocking the analytics counter does not affect access to the site.

8. Changes and contact

If we add new cookies or analytics, we will update this page and, where required, add a separate consent request. The "Last updated" date is shown at the top. Questions: support@clevernessacademy.com.
