Refund Policy

The subscription is a digital product that unlocks access immediately on payment. Our stance: once subscription access has been used, the product is treated as delivered and we do not refund that billing period.

You can cancel at any time — future renewals stop and access remains until the end of the period you have paid for.

The subscription is sold and processed through Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record: it processes the payment, issues the invoice, and handles refunds and chargebacks under its own buyer terms, and it may issue a refund at its discretion (for example, to resolve a chargeback).

This means the section above describes how we treat used access; it does not override Lemon Squeezy's ability, as Merchant of Record, to decide a refund. We do not promise that no refund will ever be issued.

A single lesson is $19 and a pack of 12 lessons is $199. For SAT and IELTS preparation, a mini-group is $190 per month and the individual format is $309 per month for 12 lessons.

• A single lesson is paid before it takes place. If the lesson does not happen through our fault, it is rescheduled at a time that suits you or, if you prefer, refunded in full.
• Lessons already delivered are not refundable — the service has been provided.
• Unused lessons in a paid package — a refund or a carry-over to the next period is considered case by case. Write to billing@clevernessacademy.com and we will propose a solution.
• Missed lessons and rescheduling — the rules are agreed before the package starts and confirmed in writing. A lesson missed without notice counts as delivered.
• If we cancel a lesson — it is rescheduled at a time that suits you or, if you prefer, that lesson is refunded.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, for digital content supplied immediately: by subscribing and requesting immediate access you give your prior express consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once performance has begun (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)).

This does not affect any mandatory consumer protections you retain under the law of your country of residence.

Please include the email address used for the purchase and the approximate payment date so we can find the transaction quickly.
